Department of Justice

Karen was a consultant, program analyst, and facilitator of program, “Beyond the Obvious” to guide the investigator/officer through the difficult cases of dual assault. The program provided a clear definition and understanding of probable cause, self-defense, interpretation of injuries and dominant/primary aggressor with the goal to reduce the inappropriate dual arrests that frequently occur at the scene of domestic violence crimes.

Karen, known as The Conflict Coach, consults with and coaches individuals, corporations, law enforcement agencies, and non-profit organizations to assist in providing turnkey educational solutions, Domestic Violence awareness and response strategies, and conflict resolution initiatives with the intended result of more enhanced personal living and establishment of efficient and cooperative workplaces.

My role is to provide insight, feedback, ask the tough questions, and challenge distorted belief systems to expand the opportunities that can be waiting just within reach. It is a mutual, forward-moving relationship to provide the client the prospect to explore, appreciate, and live a more authentic life.

My professional qualifications include certification from Mediation Training Institute, The Training Clinic, as well as other organizations. I am a member of the National Anger Management Association, American Counseling Association, Coachville, The International Coaching Federation, the Association for Coaching Excellence, and the International Association of Coaches. Education is a critical component to my personal growth and professional development.

“Unraveling Conflict”

Karen Harold is the host of the Internet radio program, Unraveling Conflict.  The focus of the call-in radio program is to educate and encourage listeners with a variety of issues revolving around personal and professional conflict.

Unraveling Conflict allows real conversation about real issues of conflict, anger, stress, and relationships.  We also share and uncover strategies for healing and growth.  The audience is more female than male; however there is an increase of male listeners. The majority of female listeners are likely due to a positive response to an assertive and friendly female host and due to the topics relating to communication, conflict, and self-care.

Unraveling Conflict is a 30-minute show broadcast live Thursdays at 12:00 noon PST @ www.blogtalkradio.com/theconflictcoach.  Archives can be heard at www.conflictcoachingco.com
